If there’s anything I could change about our rental, it would be the kitchen. There’s nothing wrong with it per se, it’s just not really my style—black countertops and bamboo-esque cabinets. It’s a little too modern and cold for my taste.
As cliché as it may sound, I really wish we had white marble countertops. They’re so clean and classic, and really brighten up the space. Since we can’t change up the counters, I’ve resorted to finding different ways to bring marble into our home to accomplish the look I really want in our home, without the major investment of a kitchen renovation.
This is probably one of the most common ways to bring marble into your home! I know we have one. They come in all different shapes and sizes and look just as beautiful on display as they do serving cheese.
So many fun kitchen accessories are made in marble and they add a little touch of glam to any space.
I love a good decorative object! They can be the perfect finishing touch to a styled bookcase and marble makes for a nice heavy-weighted object. It also adds a touch of luxury and elegance to a space without costing you a fortune.
This one is a little bit more unexpected, but marble lamps are a cool way to bring marble inside. We got these marble pillar lamps for our bedroom earlier this year and I love how weighty and substantial they are. They definitely make a statement!
Coffee & Side Tables
If you’re wanting to bring marble into your space in a bigger way, a marble side table or coffee table might be perfect for you! Again, they make any space feel fancier and more luxe. I also love the combination of metal and marble that many of these tables are made with. Clean lines all the way!
Do you have any marble pieces in your home? Which pieces would you add?!
