October 27, 2016 Everyday Last Chance Chicago Pin176 Share4 Tweet Reddit StumbleShares 180 A few Fridays back, I had one of the best shopping experiences of my life—no joke. It was a beautiful Friday afternoon and after a busy week, I was ready to turn off my computer and do some shopping. Kelly and I hopped into her car, Emma in tow, and headed out to Lombard, IL for a sneak peek and some shopping fun at newly opened Last Chance store. If you haven’t heard of Last Chance, be glad you’re about to! It’s Nordstrom’s final-clearance store and the perfect place to find affordable shoes, apparel, handbags, accessories and home decor from some of your favorite brands! The Chicago store opened last week on October 20th in Yorktown Center. For all my Chicago girls, you need to make shopping here a priority—it’s that good! If you’re not in Chicago, you can find the Last Chance closest to you here! Kelly and I walked into a massive store filled to the brim with amazing product and our eyes widened. We both stood there not knowing where to begin, and then looked at each other and said “Shoes?!”—duh! We split ways and went to the aisles with our separate shoe sizes and started browsing. Within minutes I’d found a pair of gorgeous Chloé flats that I’d had my eyes on for the past few months. I looked both ways to make sure no one else on my row had spotted them and quickly snagged them. I couldn’t believe it, and then I flipped them over to see the price—$79—what?! Brand new these retail for over $500 and here I was getting them, barely worn, for a fraction of the price. Hunting through the aisles and finding a gem like those made this shopping trip so much more fun! Instantly giddy about what else I might find, I ran to find a shopping cart. A few rows below, I found a pair of snake-skin printed Vince slip-on sneakers in perfect condition that I added to my cart! There was also a surplus of Tory Burch flats, heels, and sandals, and also Hunter boots, Sperry duck boots, all kinds of adorable booties, heels, boots, flats and sneakers! I ended up adding a pair of grey Nikes Roshes to my cart too because I wear sneakers every day on our morning walk, and a pair of strappy Tory Burch heels that are absolutely stunning! Before I went too crazy in the shoe aisle, I decided I needed to browse the other areas of the store. I found Kelly on my way, who had completely filled the bottom of Emma’s stroller with at least ten pairs of shoes. She just shrugged and gave me a look like, “What?! The prices are just too good!”. I went through the women’s clothing and grabbed a gorgeous 100% leather coat for just over $100! I’ve been looking for a leather coat for years! I couldn’t believe that I found it here, and for such a good deal! Lastly, I stopped over in the handbag section. The girl next to me had just pulled out a blush pink Chloé Drew handbag, so I knew there was going to be some good stuff in there. While going through the handbags, I came across Tory Burch, Alexander Wang, Michael Kors, Chloé, Loeffler Randall, Kate Spade and so many more amazing brands. We eventually made our final decisions and checked out. My total bill for four pairs of shoes (Chloé, Vince, Tory Burch & Nike), a Tory Burch handbag and a 100% leather jacket was less, okay, a lot less, than if you bought those Chloé flats brand new. One of the other things I loved about this store was how well organized everything was. It made it easy to browse and find those amazing pieces, and they restock all the time, so there’s always something new to find! With two family weddings this year, we have even more people to shop for, so naturally, I’m already planning another trip to Last Chance to stock up on affordable and stylish pieces for everyone on my list! Have you heard of Last Chance before? Have you been yet?! BTW, how to curl your hair with a flat iron, and are you usually late, on-time or early? Thanks to Nordstrom Rack for sponsoring this post!
