Even though we don’t go out for Valentine’s Day, I still think part of the fun in celebrating at home is getting dressed up. It most definitely makes it more special and romantic, plus I love an excuse to wear something dressy because I’m usually super casual.
I got this dress last month, but this is the first time I wore it. To be honest, I almost sent it back because it was too loose on my bum, but if you remember, one of my new year’s resolutions was to get a butt and I’ve been doing this booty workout (I’ve actually added more exercises to it) several times every week. I put on the dress last week and guess what?! It wasn’t loose on my butt anymore — progress people! So needless to say, the dress is not going back. I love it too much. It fits perfectly now and I absolutely love the off the shoulder styling.
I’ve actually been obsessed with off the shoulder pieces lately — hurry up spring! If off-the-shoulder isn’t your thing though, you can actually pull the sleeves on top of your shoulders for a ruffled look that’s equally as cute!
If you’re still on the hunt for a Valentine’s or Galentine’s dress, I highly recommend this one and actually love it in the red too. I also shared a bunch of Valentine’s day dresses last week that I’m obsessed with!
What are you planning on wearing for Valentine’s Day? Do you love off-the-shoulder pieces too?!
