Bed Sweet Bed
Big cushy comforters and mountains of pillows make my eyelids heavy. All I want to do is crawl in there and fall asleep. Preferably while it’s raining. And Saturday morning.
Everyone deserves a cozy bed to come home to, don’t you think? Oh, and can you tell I’ve got a thing for white bedding? So crisp!
Blair-Melda
It’s not my fault that I love shoes. I blame it on birth order. I was the first born, so, naturally I was spoiled and had enough Keds to outfit a YMCA soccer team.
The Keds are gone, now, but the shoe count continues to rise. My dad has even nick-named me Blair-Melda after shoe-fiend Imelda Marcos. I should probably be embarrassed about that, but I’m no where near her collection. Anyway, with winter around the corner I’ve been browsing the internet for new additions.
Boots are going to become a major staple in my wardrobe after I move, and I’m thinking these Hunter Boots (1) with cabled liners (1) are not only cute, but practical. Always a good reason to buy them, right? I just bought those grey boots (4) and I’m really hoping that over the knee boots are still in style this year. Otherwise I’m going to look outdated. Oh well, wouldn’t be the first time I’m sure. I’m also dying for a pair of these casual booties from J.Crew (6)! I‘ve seen a similar and cheaper pair at Steve Madden, but the heel is higher and icy Chicago roads might cause slippage and ankle twisting.. ekk!
I love snake skin and I love most of Tory Burch (3)‘s shoes, but geez lady, do you have to put your name on everything? Being a walking advertisement gets old.
Flats are great in the winter, most of the time because I’m cold and not feeling like putting much effort into my outfit. But these are both awesome and would make any outfit look awesome! I already told you I want those leopard slippers (5) and that hasn’t changed. But neither has my budget, dang. I also found a fun, pair at Anthro (2) — I love love love orange and purple is a close second (go frogs!).
Sadly, all of these, I’m sure, will not make into the collection. What are your favorites?
J. Crew Junkie
via J.Crew
It’s no joke. I’m a sucker for just about anything from J.Crew, and this fall is no exception. Sadly, my Europe trip has put shopping on the end of the priority list. Wah, so many cute things. And these outfits? LOVE THEM! The good news is I realized I already have a lot of similar pieces and this just gives me a new way to put them together. I really would like those leopard slippers though…
Thanks J.Crew, I’ll be back once my checking account recovers.
