My story really began the moment I finally said no.
It was 2011, I was working for my family business and knew it was not my purpose. Men’s clothing is great and necessary, but most definitely not my passion. Looking around, I knew the business could be mine if I wanted, but instead, I felt a sinking in my stomach.
Right then, I knew was not destined for a traditional 9-5 job. Creativity was in my blood and I felt stifled. So, I did what any ambitious and naive 22 year old does—I started my first business.
I started a web design business and hard work and patience, it grew into a thriving business. In 2016, I closed my design business as my blog had grown and had replaced my income.
I had no idea at the time, but, this was just the start of my entrepreneurial journey in the creative space. For the next 5 years, I spent my days writing, styling, taking photos and creating content that’s reached thousands of women around the world.
You're never too old to go after the things you want.
