I’ve seen some of these images on Pinterest, and I always gravitate towards them too, but in my own home I love color too. I still favor a grey wall over a white wall, and sometimes when I’m on social media, then I look around my home it doesn’t exactly feel “Instagram-worthy.” My style has definitely changed since we moved in and I’m still working on upgrading some of our furniture and artwork to things that are more suitable for our tastes today. There are some spaces of my home that I like to be simple- like the kitchen, bathrooms, and our bedroom- the places we spend time in for a specific purpose. The spaces I like to look a little more eclectic or layered include the living spaces and our office- the places we like to relax and be creative.
