Can you believe it’s Christmas Eve?! This season has flown by, as it always does, and I couldn’t be happier to be in Denver for the next 5 days spending time with my new family and relaxing.

Rob and I celebrated our Christmas together this past weekend and opened gifts to each other over champagne (my favorite!) and then ate dinner at one of our all time favorite date spots in Chicago, Tango Sur. We did have to wait three hours for a table, but as always, it was totally worth it. Oliver headed off to doggy camp in the country on Monday and as much as I wish he could come with us, it is nice to have a break from walking him three times a day.

For the next few days, I’m pulling the cord on blogging and emailing so I can fully relax and enjoy the holiday. I also plan on sleeping. A lot. I never realize just how tired I am until I get out of my everyday routine.

I’m already planning exciting things for the new year and I’m looking forward to an even better 2015!

I can’t believe that around this time next week, I’ll be packing up my bags to head to Denver for Christmas. Thankfully I’ve done almost all my shopping. It’s about this time of the holidays that I start realizing I might need a little something extra for a few people and gifts under $50 fit that bill. Whether it’s just a little something extra or a stocking stuffer, these gifts are perfect!

I’m in love with this crystal collar and bib. I’ve also got a new monthly agenda on my list. I’m a sucker for paper planners! Coffee table books and fabulous smelling candles are always great gifts too.

I’m looking forward to this week! I have a few holiday parties on the books and the nights that I’m at home, I plan on curling up by our Christmas tree with some hot cocoa!

I can’t believe that Christmas is just a short two weeks away! Where has the time gone? Today I’m sharing some gifts under $100 for all you last minute and budget shoppers! I hit the streets yesterday to do a little more holiday shopping. I’m so close to being done, but there’s still a few last minute goodies I need to pick up. I also went to Paper Source yesterday (Oliver came too!) to pick up wrapping paper — I think wrapping gifts might be my favorite part of the whole thing! I’m hoping to finish everything by the time the weekend is over so I can enjoy all the holiday parties and get-togethers I have on my schedule for next week. How’s your shopping coming along?!

Today’s gift guide is all about accessories for her! Some where along the way, I’ve misplaced and lost a lot of my favorite jewelry. Nothing fancy thankfully, but all the fun stuff! So this year, I had a lot of earrings (studs only!) and rings on my list.

From this list, I’m especially loving these pave bar earrings, delicate rings (under $30), these ‘say yes’ earrings (maybe my favorite!), this wide brimmed hat, this dark-faced watch and these stylish tech gloves. Those gloves would be amazing for Chicago’s winter. I hate having to pull my fingers out of my gloves when it’s 20 degrees.

Happy CYBER Monday you guys! I did some early holiday shopping on Black Friday, but Cyber Monday is really more my jam. I typically do all my shopping online to avoid crowds and stressful situations. I’ll be wrapping up the last bit of shopping for my sisters and mom today! Dad and Rob are still a work in progress. Why are guys so hard to shop for?!

For this round-up of Cyber Monday Deals, I also included a ‘Stock Up On’ section. Those things are what I look for most at those retailers, so hopefully it helps you sort through the masses! Anthropologie is always perfect for holiday dresses, skirts, sparkly items and amazing home decor pieces that make for great stocking stuffers. J.Crew is my go-to for outerwear, basic tees and sweaters. I also love these silk blouses this year! They fit like a dream. I typically hit up ShopBop ONLY during their sales. Their stuff is higher priced, but this sale is the perfect opportunity to scoop up some designer duds for a great price. When it comes to trendier pieces, I usually head to ASOS. I have so many of their skirts. They fit great and the prices are really affordable! I’ve also purchased numerous coats from them in recent years — again, you can’t beat the price! Urban Outfitters is killing it right now with their oversized sweaters and dresses. I’m obsessed with this maxi one and this short lacy one!

If you’re looking for home goodies, decor and gifts, Furbish Studio is full of eclectic and brightly colored items. Waiting on Martha has a HUGE selection of gift items, even stuff for guys (thanks, Mandy!) and World Market has great gifts for your home and also a great wine (only in stores) and gourmet food selection.
