How to Dress Like a Cool Mom
Since becoming a mama, the time I spend shopping has drastically decreased. Anytime I open my computer to start browsing, I hear a loud thunk and look over and Owen has pulled books off a shelf or is terrorizing the dog. I’ve learned that shopping just as to be something I do on my own time—any other mamas feel the same?
Nordstrom recently launched a really cool new service called Style Boards. It’s basically an ultra convenient way to get a a personalized shopping experience without ever having to go in the store. That’s HUGE for me, because when do I ever have time to actually go to a store? Nearly never!
An online stylist simply sends you a Style Board with handpicked recommendations straight to your mobile phone so you can view whenever you get a free moment. What I really love about this is that you don’t have to spend hours browsing every single page! You have a nice curated selection of products to browse and you can pick straight from there—and there’s no obligation to buy either! The whole process is so dang easy! And, if you’re a Loyalty/Nordstrom Rewards member you get access to even more services like alterations!
Now that Labor Day is behind us, I’m in a full on fall mode, even if it still doesn’t feel quite like it! It’s my favorite season to get dressed, probably because I’m always cold and any excuse to wear layers and jackets is okay by me. I know what I like, but it’s fun to have someone else pick stuff for me and push me outside of my box a little.
Normally, I don’t think I would have paired this dress and jacket together, but I really love it. It’s unexpected and the rich hues look so pretty together. I paired it with sneakers and a leather backpack because mom life requires solid footing and a bag that leaves me hands free.
This jacket is going to get so much use this fall
Who else is really excited about fall? What fall pieces do you have your eye on?
