I’m pretty close with my mom, so she’s easier. Plus, she appreciates things like a spa gift card. My dad is tough to buy for. You’re totally right about the shirt and tie- as kids almost all of his gifts were ties or golf balls! 🙂 Coffee is the other gift he always likes. It just seems so predictable to get the same things over and over again for every holiday and birthday. Thanks for the ideas- the rub set and grill cookbook are good ones!
