My husband and I actually did live together before we got married. We did long-distance (across the country and three time zones) for a year and a half and then another 9 months living 1.5 hours apart. So, when I got a job in Las Vegas, it was natural for us to move in together. Plus, the economy was in the tank and it saved us both some money as we climbed the career ladder. We learned how to live with each other and how the other liked things done. Well… more so me (I’m particular about how we load the dish washer and how to fold laundry. Type A – what can I say…) When we got married it still felt different. I can’t explain how… just… deeper. A larger connection. A deeper promise. Does that make sense? Anyhow… I loved reading this and ADORE your blog! (Sorry for being long winded!)

He is going to live there and I’m going to slowly start moving my things in as time permits and then fully move in once we’re married. I agree that it just makes it so exciting!!

We’ve been married for two years too and I couldn’t agree more with your thoughts. We moved in when we got married and it definitely made it feel like that much more of a step.
