Today kicks off Madewell’s Insider Event! I know things will sell out fast though, so if you’ve got your eye on anything snag it now! I grabbed a few pieces recently and put together some outfits so you can get some ideas of how to wear these pieces now and into fall.
Like I mentioned in this post, I’ve been gravitating more and more towards classic basics and neutrals. They make your wardrobe so versatile and essentially give you more outfits for the cost of less! Madewell has always been one of my favorite brands when it comes to basics and neutrals because they just do them so well!
Okay, well now onto the good stuff. I’ve styled every piece multiple ways and you can really see just how much use you can get out of these, probably more when you mix them with items you already have in your closet.
Admittedly, some of the pieces I’m wearing here are not Madewell, but I saw that they had similar pieces in their current collection, so I included them so you could get an idea of how to wear them. Since many of these pieces are basics, chances are you probably have a some of these in your closet already.
Black Bodysuit (& Blazer)
I finally got my first bodysuit and since then, I can’t quit them. They are chic, fit great and look amazing under clothes. This is all about this black tank bodysuit, but I also love this one that’s got sleeves for fall. You could easily swap these out as it gets cooler.
I love how it looks with a blazer (obviously, ha!), but did style the bodysuit other ways—you’ll just have to scroll down for a few more!
White Button Down Shirt
If you don’t already have a plain, white button down in your closet, you probably should. It’s one of the most versatile, classic pieces you can have!
White Button Down | Leopard Skirt, sold out already, but some sizes still available here! | Frances Loafer, similar (I’m wearing the Everlane Modern loafer here, one of my faves—order up in Everlane loafers, they run small)
The Central Shirt is one of Madewell’s classic cuts and I’m here for it! I have a white one and a chambray one and I adore both of them. They’re comfortable, flattering and versatile.
Anorak or Military Jacket
Another one of my favorite pieces in my closet! I’ve had one of these for years and it gets a ton of wears every single year. I adore this color and love how it adds a pop of color to a neutral outfit.
Sweater Tank Dress
I saw this and loved it! It runs big though! I’m wearing an XS here and would have preferred it be a bit more fitted. But, the color is gorgeous and it was really, really comfortable!
There you have it—25 easy to put together outfits for fall! I hope this gets you inspired for fall and helps you to make use of what you already have in your closet!
