The Kind of Jewelry You Can Wear Everyday
BRACELET: Monica Vinader Fiji Chain Bracelet (also in rose gold and silver), c/o | TOP: Striped Tee, on sale! | SKIRt: A-Line Button Skirt, similar | SHOES: Brezza Lace-Up Flats | GLASSES: Ellison in Marbled Sandstone
Believe it or not, I really don’t own that much jewelry. That’s not to say that I didn’t at one point! Just a couple of years ago I remember myself buying up all the bright and bold fashion jewelry I could get my hands on, only to realize that it was a poor investment. After just a few wears, half of these pieces we’re broken and the other half I was sick of already.
Since then I’ve realized that fashion jewelry just isn’t really my thing or really my style at all. Funny how it changes so quickly, ha! Now days, I’d much rather invest in pieces that are simple, meaningful and most importantly, are versatile! If I can’t wear a piece of jewelry with nearly anything, it doesn’t come home with me.
When I first spotted this Monica Vinader Fiji chain bracelet (available on the Monica Vinader site and Nordstrom!), I knew it was a winner. I mean, just look at it! It’s perfectly classic, simple, dainty and gold. Gold is my favorite. With the exception of a few special pieces, like my engagement ring, almost all of my jewelry is gold or rose gold. I think it’s all those warm tones that I love so much!
It’s one of those pieces that you can truly wear everyday because it goes with everything.
Ever since it arrived in it’s beautiful packaging, I’ve been wearing it constantly. I mean, like literally everyday. It looks stunning on it’s own or paired with a few of my other favorite bracelets. I actually would love to add a few more Monica Vinader bracelets to my collection because I love the way they look stacked together — the Fiji friendship bracelets and Baja stone bracelets would both look gorgeous paired with it! Thankfully, the bracelet is also easy to clasp one it’s own — that’s always a pet peeve of mine with bracelets because Rob is rarely around by the time I’m getting dressed for the day.
If you’re in Chicago and want to see the collection in person, there’s a Monica Vinader trunk show happening at Nordstrom on Michigan Avenue on Saturday, May 7th — perfect for any last minute Mother’s Day gifts you need to scoop up! I know my mama would love them!
While I’ve been wearing my bracelet with everything these days, I paired it with this simple outfit while we were in Dallas for my sister’s engagement party a few weeks back. This outfit is super casual, but I absolutely love it! There’s no substitute for a good striped shirt and these lace-up sandals have also been on repeat lately — they’re insanely comfortable!
Make sure to stop by the site tomorrow to see how it looks with a dressier outfit too!
