Wanderlusting

Whenever I travel, it always brings on the itch to travel more. One great trip ignites that fire again and I start day-dreaming about the next adventure. I’ve been traveling so much within the past few months and I’m currently in London. Usually Rob is my go-to travel buddy, and all of my travel in the past few months hasn’t been with him and as much fun as I’ve had on all my trips, I desperately miss traveling with him. I love the way we travel, how it brings us together and really just being with him as we explore new parts of the world.

Since being gone, I find myself daydreaming about the next trip with Rob. There’s still so many places we want to visit, but I have two trips in mind that I’ve always wanted to do. They might have to wait since they’re a little ambitious, but still they both sound amazing.

1. Road Trip through Costa Rica

We actually did this when I was younger and to this day, it’s one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever been on. The geography of Costa Rica is so unique and we did everything from beaches, to volcanoes to rainforests. It was adventurous, exciting and so much fun and I desperately want to do it again. We’ve never done anything like this together and I think we’d really enjoy it. It’d be more casual than our trips to big cities, but I’m 100% okay with that!

2. Live Like a Local

Renting a house in a European city (still debating which one) for a month and living like a local has always been a pipe dream of mine. I just want to go to a cool town, rent a darling flat, shop the market, cook fresh food, relax, get in touch with nature and step back from the responsibilities of every day life. Somewhere warm and near the ocean would be ideal in my mind, or somewhere in the mountains or by a vineyard. Ironically, I feel a bit like I’m doing this in London since Megan and I have both previously visited and it’s really fun! Less of a touristy, exhausting trip and more living.

So, I have to know — if you could plan your dream trip, where would you go and what would you do?!
