15 Adorable Dresses You’ll Live in This Spring
I can’t believe it, but by this time next week, we’ll be in Denver! I still can’t believe it’s almost Memorial Day Weekend! Usually we don’t have big plans, but one of Rob’s high school friends is getting married, so it was the perfect excuse to take a super long weekend away. Rob’s family lives there, so we’ll get to see them, catch up with friends and introduce Owen to everyone who still hasn’t met him yet! The weather is suppose to be amazing and there’s just something about the smell of Colorado mountain air that makes me feel super relaxed.
I’ve started thinking about what to pack, and lately, I’ve been reaching for comfortable and casual pieces that I feel confident and relaxed in. This super cute wrap dress (also comes in a midi version) from Everlane just arrived and I’m looking forward to wearing it in Colorado (pic below!). The fabric is super soft and lightweight and since it’s a wrap style, it fits perfectly every time! The color is beautiful too!
When the weather cooperates, dresses are my go-to outfit during the warmer months. I love having my closet stocked with simple, wearable dresses. They’re so easy for mom life because you just throw them on and go! It’s always tempting to buy the fancier pieces, but let’s be honest, my life just isn’t that fancy and spring casual dresses are the ones that I wear the most.
SPRING CASUAL DRESSES
On a different topic, my obsession with comfortable flat footwear continues—I think it’s just part of being a mom! I’ve been wearing these off-white, suede sneakers any chance I get and just got these cute bootie sandals! I’ve also got my eye on these sneakers from Allbirds. They’re athletic, but still cute enough to wear with anything from shorts, jeans, skirts and dresses. They seriously can give any outfit a cool, casual vibe instantly.
COVETABLE FLAT SHOES
I was thinking back to past trips to Mexico and L.A. that I took about the same time of year and they were seriously magical. It’s so nice to get a break from winter and get a jump start on my summer tan! I hope this next week goes by quickly because all I can think about is parking myself by the pool and reading lots of books. Speaking of which, I need some suggestions—do you have any good books I need to read?
What is your go-to outfit for spring? Do you have any trips planned for Memorial Day weekend or summer?
