My Favorite Room
If you know me, you know I love to cook, I love my little kitchen in my apartment, but how incredible to have one of these! A kitchen this beautiful is sure to inspire some good meals and other good ideas!
My favorite! I love the color combinations and contrast between the texture of the stone, marble and tile. Love all the natural light too!
White on white is so fresh! The dark floor provides nice contrast and the raw wood island is so understated, yet elegant.
I’m really loving the airy and bright breakfast nook over there. Give me the first kitchen with that and I’m set.
For my mountain home… one day. How awesome to have a beautiful fireplace smack in the middle of the kitchen.

Client Spotlight: Dash Fitness
We just launched our latest site! And this one was a blast! Well, they’re all pretty fun, but Lander, the creator of Dash Fitness has so much energy which makes the whole process so much fun! Lander, Austin native and workout queen, wanted to make her fitness program different. Rather than appeal to anyone and everyone, her program is specially tailored for the young modern woman.
The design of the website was aimed to appeal to young women. A cool modern design and minimalist approach helped create the perfect spot for ‘Dashers’ and new clients to find schedules, information, sign up for classes and get nutrition tips.
We also created a blog, Dash Diaries that reflects the same style as the website, but also has a little more personality. It’s Lander’s voice and we wanted that to come through in the design. What do you think? Are you ready to get fit??
Client Spotlight: The Hobbyist
My good friend, Layne, is really talented. For months I’d been trying to convince her to start a blog on interior design — you should see her house, it’s just precious! Finally she warmed up to the idea, got her thoughts in order and launched The Hobbyist, Life by Trial & Error. It documents not only her fabulous design work, but also her inspiration, antiquing, gardening, cooking and all the other hobbies she engages herself in (too many to list here).
I had a blast designing her blog, and the whole thing just screams Layne, so she’s happy with it too. Her latest post? She was going to Napa. Are you as jealous as me?
