3 Ways to Wear a Linen Dress
In my attempt to feel more normal, I’ve been making myself get dressed in something other than workout clothes or leggings, and it makes such a difference. And, admittedly, I’m so happy to have clothes other than sweatpants that fit me, so it feels good to put on something cute that makes me feel like my normal self!
I bought this dress a few weeks ago and have worn it so much already. The fabric is lightweight and breezy and the puff sleeves are so fun. I’m wearing a size small and I’d say it fits TTS. It is a little on the shorter side, but not too short—I’m 5’8″ for reference. The back of the dress is smocked which makes it stretchy and very comfortable! And, it comes in several different colors.
Like most things in my closet, it can be worn a bunch of different ways, here are a few ways I’ve styled it lately!
How to Style a Linen Dress
Casual Lunch Date
Or, if you’re not ready to go out to lunch, a backyard get together or picnic! I had loved these flats for so long and finally bought them this year and they don’t disappoint. They run a bit narrow, but are comfortable and the stars on them are so fun!
It’s also so sunny here, so I find myself wearing hats all the time and this one is perfect for an outing.
Summer Date Night
You can’t go wrong with a simple and classic outfit for date night. I always think black accessories dress up an outfit. So I paired simple heels and one of my favorite black bags.
We went on our first date night in months last night and it was so much fun! I’m more than happy to wear a mask and sit far apart if it means I get a night out with Rob alone.
Lastly, sneakers with a dress—one of my favorites! I love that it’s casual, comfortable and still looks so cute. I paired it with this big satchel that I’ve had for years and LOVE. It’s great for traveling or when I’m running around doing errands or getting work stuff done.
I love when I can wear one dress multiple ways! Which outfit is your favorite?
