You make your own beauty profile so that you get products that you (hopefully) like. They sell the products on their website, so when you find one you’re in love with, it’s easy to find!
I got my first box a few weeks ago and have tried everything out. The shampoo & conditioner from C.O. Bigelow smells great — peppermint & lavender — and makes my hair so soft! I’m not a huge nail painter, but I really loved this color from Zoya (the blue one!). It might have inspired me to paint my nails more often. By far my favorite was the moisturizing lip gloss from Jouer. That was one I actually wanted to buy, and of course, they sold of the color I wanted (Birchbox pink) instantly. There’s a wait list for now.
It makes for a great present for friends, bridesmaids or sisters. I got a 3-month ‘subscription’ for each of my sisters so they get a little something fun every month!
Overall, it’s a cool concept and I wish more companies did this. Like clothing! Haha, that would be too sweet.
