It’s official. Spring has arrived in Chicago! Well, sort of, we’re still getting random cold days, but as you can see, the trees and flowers are blooming and the city feels so alive! Sometimes winter wears me down, but days that look like this one are the perfect reminder of why I love this city so much. The good news is that it’s only going to keep getting better as we move into summer — bring on patio season!

We had one of the prettiest days of the year last week and I made sure to take advantage. I finally pulled down my summer clothes and dug out one of my favorite dresses, added some wedges and these new white statement bracelets from Candorra Artisans. Typically I stick to simple jewelry and I love that these stone wire bangles make a statement, but don’t totally steal the show. They’re simple enough to wear everyday and these white stones go with literally everything.

I’ve been wearing them stacked like this and on more casual days, I’ll just wear one or two at a time. I can even see myself mixing and matching them with other bracelets for an unexpected arm party.

Another thing I love about these bracelets is that they give back. When I was in high school I volunteered frequently, but with work and a family, it gets hard to find time in our busy schedules for volunteering. Buying products like this one that give back, make me feel better about my purchase. Candorra Artisans donates a portion of each bangle sold for community outreach, then artisans and team leaders choose how they money is used. Pretty special, really!

I really can’t explain just how excited I am that winter is finally in the rearview window. Even though this winter wasn’t too brutal, it hit me hard and spring colors and sunshine are making me feel more like myself again. I can hardly wait for the days when dresses, sandals and fun statement jewelry like these bracelets is the norm.

When the weather comes out to play after a Chicago winter, you’re allowed to give yourself a little something special and cut out of work a little early, so our sun-shiny day ended with an early pouring of rosé while we finished up the last bits of work before really calling it a day.
