It’s been in the works over the past 8 months and needless to say, I am sooo excited to have finally launched it! I totally meant to share this Monday when we officially launched, but life got in the way. If you missed it, then this will still be exciting!

So, what is Easy Weekly Recipes?
If you’re thinking… food blog? Not quite. Though, ironically that’s how I got my start in the blogging world years ago. It’s not a blog, but does have a blog component, so be sure to check that out too!
Easy Weekly Recipes is a membership site that delivers you an organized grocery list and three recipes to your inbox each week. Our goal is to take the stress out of coming up with what to cook each week, and to make your grocery shopping so much easier! No more forgotten ingredients—woo hoo!
Our weekly recipes are specifically designed to share ingredients so that you’re left with little to no waste, because no one like throwing out excess food—that’s like throwing out your money, no thank you!
The healthy recipes are designed to feed two people with occasional leftovers. Most of them are naturally dairy and gluten free, but all of them can easily be made dairy and gluten free and include suggestions when applicable.
And, if you’re feeding more, you can simply double or triple the amount to accommodate your needs!
I’ve always loved to cook.
Fun fact about me, I actually thought I wanted to cook professionally and enrolled in cooking school after I finished undergrad. I did one semester and was pretty appalled at the amount of fat, sugar and salt added to literally everything and decided that it wasn’t quite the right fit for me.
After having Owen, cooking started becoming less of a passion and more of a chore, which I hated. The hardest part for me? Coming up with what to cook each week. My brain was too fried to think on the spot and I often found myself at the grocery with no real plan for the week. I actually still loved the process of prepping and cooking, but hated having to be the one responsible for new ideas each week.
I’d go to the grocery without a plan and buy a bunch of random stuff. Half of it I’d forget about and it would go bad, or I wouldn’t use it because I didn’t have any recipe ideas. I hated the waste and felt pretty terrible about it—I mean, that was my hard-earned cash, now in the trash!
We needed a better system!
That’s when I started planning our meals on the weekends, making ONE grocery list and ONE trip to the grocery. The rest of our week ran smoothly and my nights were far more relaxing and less hectic. We were eating a wider variety of things and eating healthier because I wasn’t trying to throw something together at the last second.
Where the Idea was Born
I mentioned our meal planning one day on Insta Stories and 98% of people said they wanted a meal plan, so I typed one up and gave it away for free!
I was blown away by how many downloads we got in just 3 days! I thought, maybe there’s something here. So, I called my sister, Katherine, later that day and said, I think I have an idea. Her response—”is it about meal planning?!”
I think the idea was forming in her head before I’d even called her!
We were both already utilizing meal planning as it was and we decided that it was silly to not share, so our new business was born!
The Biggest Struggle in Launching
The hardest part? We don’t live in the same city and we jokingly say that Easy Weekly Recipes would have launched months ago if we were in the same place. We were able to work together on 3 occasions before we launched and those 3 days were by far our most productive. Crazy, huh?!
But, either way, here we are 8 months later and really really proud of the content we’ve created for you. We know it’s going to make such a difference for you and your family and we can’t wait to have you try it out!

I’ve been waiting for this day for months, and as all projects seem to go, we ran into small bumps that pushed our launch back later than we’d originally expected, but it feels so good to be here today.
