Happy Fourth of July everyone! I’m in Denver for the next few days. Today we’re headed to a Rockies game to celebrate our wonderful country in one of the most American ways I can think of! I hope your day is full of celebration, relaxation, fun and remembering how lucky we are to live in such a great place.

I think yellow and navy will forever remind me of my high school — those were our colors. Sometimes I feel funny with those colors on again, but the truth is that I really do love the color combination. It’s so classic and always looks great.
The weather in Chicago has been absolutely amazing the past few days (minus yesterday) — sunny, warm with a nice breeze — and this is my go to outfit. A light skirt that’s just a touch girly and bright paired with a simple tank. I’m all about making it easy in the summer! If I’m going out to dinner, I’ll dress it up with wedges otherwise, flats are perfect for a day at work.
On a side note, I’m headed to Denver tonight for a few days with Rob’s family and a wedding. I cannot wait, this week has been a hectic one, and I’m looking forward to some downtime and hikes through those mountains. I hope you have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend!
A few months back, I had the pleasure of redesigning Sweet Lemon Mag‘s new website and this month I was featured in their magazine. It’s a great online publication! Always so well put together and full of amazing women and their stories.
I’m flattered to be included in this most recent issue and highly recommend the magazine to any gal. Check out my feature on page 110. My name is spelled wrong, but I’ll get over it.
