So remember how I’ve been complaining about my very sad looking dining room? Well, I decided it was time to make some progress. Knowing that I have friends coming in just a few weeks definitely lit that fire again. Today I went out and bought the pipes for the butcher block/pipe table that I’m making and hopefully getting started this weekend. I wish you could have seen me walking back from Home Depot with all those things! Let’s just say I got an extra arm workout in!

The other major part of fixing that dining room up all pretty is getting some fabulous artwork in there. The entire room is white with wood floors and furniture. It’s screaming for some color. If white can scream…

That being said, I’m on the hunt for a cool, unique piece of art that I’ll want to keep around for a long time. I’ve been obsessed with Nicole Potter’s artwork for years, but sadly for me, it’s a bit out of my price range. But alas! She now has giclées available for prices that are much lower than her originals. You can also select your size. Which I like! My favorite is the very top one, why else put it first, right?

Where do you look for great art on a budget?
