The Warmy Room

{neutrals + pops of color = perfection}

All season long I’ve been referring to our living room as the ‘warmy room’. Mostly because there’s a fireplace in there that makes it physically warm, but it’s also a warm place even if there isn’t a fire crackling in the corner.

Since I’m moving soon, I’ve been doing lots of researching on design blogs and a lot of pinning on Pinterest to find inspiration for my new living room. The downside is that I have no idea what this living room will look like since I haven’t found an apartment quite yet. And I’m not going to lie, it’s causing me a bit of stress. I’m not a total planner, but I’d like to feel like I’m a little more prepared.

{love the mirrored table & dog painting}

The problem is not that I can’t find anything I like, it’s that I find way too much that I like. It’s a blessing and a curse. I plan on using pieces that I already have, but they’re mostly neutral, which leaves the canvas pretty much blank.

I’m looking forward to painting that canvas here pretty soon & can’t wait to share the finished product with you. In the meantime, here are a few living rooms that make me feel ‘warmy’. I’m always up for more inspirations — any good design blogs or boards I need to follow on Pinterest? I’d love to hear them!
