Our apartment is old and makes dust like it’s a job. I seriously have no idea where all these dust bunnies come from. I’ll sweep and a week later it’s back again. The vacuum I have now is a poor excuse for a cleaning device. It hardly picks up dirt off the floor, which is exactly why I asked for a vacuum for Christmas this year! You know you’re getting old when you ask for appliances, right?
I just snagged a refurbished Dyson DC23 Motorhead Canister Vacuum for a fraction of the price (yeah!). You can get the newest version of this vacuum here, but the price is heftier. I was told by the vacuum experts that canister vacuums are perfect for spaces with hard wood floors and carpeted areas.
And if you think this has nothing to do with design, I beg to differ. A well-designed home, must also be a clean home! Plus, this deal was just too good to pass up.
