5 Ways to Wear a Spring Sweater Dress
We’re finally getting to that point in winter, where we’re getting a few signs of spring! Less snow, less frigid days, more sunshine and longer days. I couldn’t be happier about it! We haven’t even had a bad winter, but spring is just the best—it feels so fresh and new. And I get the same kind of feelings that I do when the new year hits.
I haven’t been doing much shopping, but did just snag these two spring sweater dresses that are going to be ideal for the next few months where it’s that in-between weather—not too cold, but not really warm either.
I styled them a few different ways so you can get an idea of how versatile they are and how you can wear them yourself!
How to Wear a Spring Sweater Dress
Ivory Sweater Dress Outfits
I adore both of these dresses, but I think this one is more versatile being a pretty, creamy, almost oatmeal color. This color also just lends itself to looking dressier, which makes it a good one for date nights, the office and girls’ nights!
I’m wearing a small here and could have worn a medium, but the small works perfectly—not too tight and not see through. If you’re pregnant and your bump is bigger (I’m only 20 weeks here), you might want to opt for one size up just for the ability to stretch more.
Sneakers are my jam! They’re my most-worn pairs of shoes and for good reason. They’re comfortable and go with everything—I’m grateful that it’s cool to wear sneakers with everything these days. For chilly days, just throw on a warm coat.
I love this outfit for date night. It’s sassy with the boots and I love that it hugs the bump! I got so sick of wearing baggy sweaters and jeans, so this is a welcome change!
Striped Sweater Dress Outfits
This dress is definitely more springy! And, just so you know, these dresses are essentially the same, just different colors/patterns. I love the pop of colors, and find that this one just looks more casual, but is so fun!
Again, had to show it with sneakers because, duh! I live in them. I paired a grey coat with it for a polished, but cool, casual look.
