I never would have guessed that the strongest and fittest I’ve ever felt would be post baby. But, having a baby has given me a whole new appreciation for my body.
I’m so appreciative of everything it can do, it’s ability to heal itself and get stronger than it has in the past! It’s also made me more motivated than ever, to get and stay healthy so I can feel my best.
For a good time after having Owen, I felt like crap. I was foggy, exhausted, and generally in a funk for a while. I started focusing on giving my body what it needed and guess what? A few months of being patient and consistently taking care of myself I started feeling a lot more life myself.
One of the biggest elements of taking back control was finally getting on a regular workout routine.
I’ve always worked out, but never that consistently or regularly. I’d go to yoga a couple times of week, do BBG for a few weeks or do nothing for a few weeks.
When Owen was about 4 months old, I decided to hire a trainer. Most definitely a financial commitment, but worth every penny because it kick started a passion for moving my body on a regular basis!
Today, I’m SOOOOOO excited to share my at-home workout guide with you guys today! This is the first of more cool tools I’ve got up my sleeve that are aimed to help you live your healthiest and happiest and I couldn’t be happier to share it with you guys!
My sweet friend and talented photographer, Margaret Rajic, helped me shoot it and put it all together and it turned out so much than I ever imagined and I hope you guys love it as much as I do!
It’s got 4 workouts inside designed to be done easily in your living room.
You can also take them to the gym too! (With little to no equipment) It’s up to you on how much weight you want to add or not add! They’re all pretty quick so you can do them while you watch your favorite TV show or while your baby naps, which is typically when I’m doing them.
Now, to get a little sappy on you—this past year has been a tough one for me as a blogger.
It’s been a season of a lot of unexpected change in what I care about and what I want to share here. I’m sure you’ve noticed that there’s less fashion, more wellness, more life, more clean beauty. It’s been scary to let go of what I used to do and switch directions.
For the longest time I focused so much on losing followers or disappointing people, but in the meantime, I was making myself miserable. These past few months, I’ve felt more like myself than I have in a long time, and I wanted to say thank you for being here.
Thank you for following along, supporting me and sharing your passion for living a healthier life too! I feel so lucky to have so many amazing women around the world that I get to connect!
