When you walk up to Blue Print Store in Dallas, you’re welcomed by some of the most gorgeous blue doors on a beautiful old home-turned-shop, and that’s just the beginning. I literally get giddy every time I visit Dallas and stop by here. Can I move in?! I always make a point to stop in and see what new goodies have arrived and daydream about my house (some day) looking just like their store!

It’s not only stunning, but also such an inspiring place. They do a great job of mixing antiques with modern pieces and interesting artwork that gives each room a homey feel — as if it’s been slowly curated over the years, except it wasn’t! Seeing how they pair patterns, colors and then style each room gets me so excited to run home and try out some new things and mix in my latest purchase with my older pieces.

Since it’s a shop, pieces don’t stay around forever, and I love that each time I come in there are new treasures to be found and new inspiration to be seen. They always do a spectacular job of styling each room with their latest pieces, which, again, just makes me want to move in!

The lovely ladies over at Blue Print sent me home with this gorgeous crystal and quartz box to style in Rob and my new apartment. I’m obsessed with anything that has rocks on it, so it was an easy decision to put it front and center in my living room where I get to see it all the time. It’s currently holding my favorite candy — Skittles!

When I style my coffee table, I always reach for a stack of pretty books for color and some height and a few decorative items to anchor it. I like putting it on a tray because it makes it look tidy and organized on the table. It also makes it the focal point of the table. I like adding a yummy smelling candle and a box of fancy matches to the tray as well. On the other side of the table, I added something green and natural. I’m a big fan of bringing the outside in and adding a plant of some sort. It seems so soften the space so nicely! My sweet friend Andrea brought this cactus over as a housewarming gift and I adore it! Now, I just need to figure out how to not kill it. I’m assuming very little watering will keep it alive, but tips are welcome!

I look forward to the day that we have a house to fully decorate! Blue Print is not only a fabulous place to find unique home decor, but they also offer styling and design services and have an amazing blog that I check on the regular. Just looking back at these pictures, I’m already getting excited for my next trip to Dallas, so, the real question, are you feeling inspired yet?
