For Those Casual & Busy Days
I don’t know about you guys, but this past weekend was amazing! Not because of what we did on New Year’s Eve, but more because of what we didn’t do. We spent most of our weekend cozied up at home, sitting on the couch, cleaning up our apartment, doing laundry and getting our place ready for the new year.
After writing my New Year’s resolutions, dreams and goals for yesterday’s post, I had a surge of excitement and hopefulness for everything this year may hold. That thought has made it easy to get motivated and get things done.
For running errands and hanging around the house, I wore outfits, like this one from Gap Factory, made up of ultra-comfy leggings, warm sweatshirts and cozy layers like this hooded fur-lined vest. When I had to go outside, I just threw on this hat from yesterday’s post and called it a day!
Now that the holidays are behind us, we’re trying to be more budget-friendly and Gap Factory is the perfect price point! I’m obsessed with this striped logo sweatshirt, not only because it’s really soft and warm, but it also looks more tailored than your average sweatshirt. I can go from doing laundry to running errands without having to change and still look pulled together.
After running all my errands this weekend, I finished cleaning the house, threw out the Christmas tree (it was so dried and crispy!), made my favorite soup, finished the laundry and placed these gorgeous flowers all over the house. I think it’s safe to say 2016 is off to a bright start!
How’s your new year going so far? I’d love to hear from you!
