Lifelong friends, Joe & Johnny, approached me about doing a website for their fishing outfit, Stormont Williams Fish Supply Co., based in Alaska. I was immediately inticed – a story like theirs just doesn’t come around everyday.
They had both worked as fishing guides at Tanaku Lodge in Elfin cove, Alaska for many summers and decided to take their talents to the next level. This time they’re doing the fishing and sending their top notch product back to their warehouse in Dallas before delivering it locally and nationally. They catch, clean, flash freeze and package their fish with extreme care to guarantee the best quality you can get.
A website for a company like this had to be as unique as their story. We used a bunch of beautiful images of the wild Alaskan frontier and earthy colors to convey the uniqueness of this product. We focused on the high quality and care of the fish as well as the importance of knowing your fisherman — I mean, how cool is it to know exactly who’s catching your fish?? Pretty cool.
Joe’s wife provided me with WONDERFUL images which give potential customers a quick glimpse into the backyard of Alaska, a place that hardly resembles your grocery’s fish department…
I had a blast working with them and the site turned out great. Now, Joe and Johnny are up in Alaska doing what they do best- fishing.
