Well, it’s official. I’m definitely going to be painting more! I just ordered 10, yes TEN, very large blank canvases. I might have gone a little overboard, but they were offering a discount on them when you purchased ten or more, so I figured, why the hell not. Now all I need is a real easel and a lot more paint…
After I posted these images of my big abstract painting I did for our living room, I got a lot of really great feedback. I’ll be honest, I really didn’t have any intention of painting again after this, but I really really loved doing it. It was a great way to relieve a bit of stress at the end of the day and just plain fun. I wasn’t expecting that or the emails asking if it was for sale.
I’m hoping to get started on these new canvases this month and work on them throughout the winter. What a good indoor project, right?
So, thanks to you guys for all your support in helping me explore new creative mediums! I can’t wait to show you them as they are finished over the next few months.
