Lately I’ve been finding myself attracted to pieces with embroidery. The texture gives each piece so much depth and interest and the fabric always tends to be thicker to hold up to the stiching which makes it absolutely perfect for winter!

I wore this stunning embroidered floral jacquard dress from ASOS while exploring Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art on a dreary and extra cold day. Being warm and dressed up at the museum was such a nice treat and also made me feel like I was on vacation! I still can’t believe that I’d never been to the MCA before. It’s only 8 minutes from our place and I really love art. Did you know I minored in studio art? The exhibit changes on a regular basis so I’ll be back again!

P.S. Valentine’s Day is coming soon, wouldn’t this dress be perfect?!
