In past years, we shelled out far too much money for new years parties at a packed hotel party with not enough food or drinks for the number of people they sold tickets too. Sure, the band was just good, but just hope you don’t get separated from your group because trying to find them in a sea of 3000 people is not easy.
Last year was different. Our friends decided to go to Untitled and it turned out to be my favorite New Year’s Eve party ever. Each room had different performers and shows happening that built up to the biggest performance just before midnight. I liked that it wasn’t just like going to a bar. Instead I got the bar AND a performance. This year, we’re headed back to same place with a new theme for this year.
Now that we have a destination, it’s time to find something to wear! For me, New Year’s requires something with a bit of sparkle. This glinted fringed skirt (just sold out, very similar here) not only has sparkle, but fringe too. I paired it with a light turtleneck, but a cropped black top would also be amazing for New Year’s Eve.
What are you doing for the holiday? Going out or staying in?!
