Ever since we got married, life has been a little hectic. My work schedule has been crazy and we’ve been traveling quite a bit, so getting back into a normal schedule has been difficult. I sort of hate to admit this, but with life being so busy, our regular date nights have been sadly forgotten and it’s time we picked that habit back up!
We’ve been eating home-cooked meals together a lot (which I love!), but going to a restaurant and getting dressed up for a night out is totally different. There’s no TV, dog, laundry or last-minute to-do lists distracting you from enjoying your time together. Plus, having someone else cook and serve you is always a nice break, even for someone like me who loves to cook.
Typically our date nights are pretty casual, but for a fancier one, a dress and strappy heels fit the bill. This Jenny Yoo Bridgitte dress is perfect for that kind of night. It’s elegant, feminine and I absolutely adore the lace and scalloped details on the hem and sleeves. These sexy shoes balance out the girliness of this dress perfectly!
Since this dress is so stunning on its own, I kept it simple with crystal and gold earrings, a sparkly bracelet, gold watch and my normal assortment of rings. My most favorite part of this dress is how I feel in it! I feel comfortable and beautiful when wearing it and when I feel great, date night is even better. What do you wear for dressy date nights?
P.S. For the month of October, Jenny Yoo is donating a portion of her sales to American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. So grab a dress, look beautiful and support a great cause!
