I woke up this morning wondering how it was already half way through the month of November. Life has been crazy lately— in a good way — but still crazy. It’s sort of scary how quickly time gets away from you though, right? My mom was in town last week and before I knew it, her trip was over and she was hopping on a plane home. Next thing I know, it’ll be time to head home for Christmas and I’ll be spending my mornings cozied up by the fire in a big sweater and a cup of coffee, and I’m totally okay with that!
The end of last week was spent wrapping up a few design projects before I re-opened my order form to take on a few projects over the holidays. On top of new and exciting design projects, I’ve been spending a lot of time painting (yeah!!) and finishing up some fun pieces that I’ll be adding to the site early next week, so make sure you’re signed up for the emails if you’re interested in purchasing! This next round will feature some smaller pieces that have a different feel — I love them. And it’s going to be hard to see them go, especially this one, but I just don’t have enough walls to hang them all on! So please, somebody give them a warm loving home!
As for this weekend, I’ll be spending time with Rob & his parents who are in town to check out some spots for our rehearsal dinner and hopefully doing a little lounging on my couch. As much as I love this time of year, I wish that everything would just slow down a bit so I could soak it all up! I guess that’s motivation to get my work done faster, right?!
