I always share my new collections when they drop,. However, I’m admittedly bad at sharing the custom, commissioned work I’ve been doing. I made Rob snap a few pictures of this giant beauty before she heads across the country to her new home.
Recent Commission: Oversized Neutral Artwork
I recently finished this massive neutral, abstract piece—44×70″—for my friend and insanely talented interior designer, Kira David. She recently moved and commissioned this piece for her new home. I cannot wait to see her space and of course, this painting hanging in it.
This is the biggest piece I’ve done so far and loved it. Painting large is my favorite and I’m so happy with how it turned out.
This style is more reminiscent of my first few collections. I had the thought the other day that most artists have one style they paint in. However, I really love painting these fun, more geometric neutral pieces as well as the organic and colorful ones. Honestly, it just depends on the day.
Ironically, my closet is the same way. It’s a good mix of fun, colorful pieces and lots of classic neutrals—guess that’s just who I am!
I’ve shared lots of this piece on Instagram and have received lots of questions about how to commission something similar. If you’re interested, all my commission information is right here! I would love to make something custom for your home, or a client’s if you’re an interior designer.
And, a little note on my next collection drop—this one will be another colorful collection and I’m aiming to have around 20 pieces. Let’s see if I can make it happen! I’m hoping it’s totally feasible since Jack starts daycare on Monday. My goal is to release it in late August or early September.
Finally, if you’re not on my list yet, you can join here for early access. My past collections have sold quickly, so the best way to ensure you get the piece you want is to be on this list!
As always, thank you for all your support in my newest venture, it’s an honor to have my work in your homes!
