First Impressions

entryway rugs, patterned runners, interior design, for the home, blair culwell, the fox and she

We’ve been living in our house for several months now and I finally can say that it’s nearly complete! Well, let’s be real, I’ll be tweaking on a regular basis, but it’s gotten to the point where it’s (mostly) organized, decorated and makes for a cozy place to come home to.

One of the last things I’m considering is a runner for our entryway, which is why I’m showing you rugs for your entryway today! This is the only part of the house that feels rather incomplete to me. On one wall we have sliding white closet doors on a white wall and on the other side a few pieces of artwork and a small entryway table. Those white walls just leave it feeling so stark! I think one of these bold patterned rugs might just be perfect for this space. It would add interest and texture to a sort of plain spot in the house and make it even cozier, which will be super important as winter quickly approaches!

P.S. Don’t forget to stop by the W Lakeshore tonight for Retail Therapy – details here!
