If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ll know that we were in both San Francisco and Sonoma this weekend with two of our best friends, JB and Amy! The weekend was a total blast and looking at these pictures again just makes me so happy! It also makes me wish that I was still there sipping wine and enjoying all that sunny weather. Rob and I spent our afternoon together in San Francisco poking around town, having a super healthy lunch, walking down by the way and checking out the Palace of Fine Arts — which I must say was pretty spectacular! We had dinner that night with one of Rob’s high school friends and his fiancé at A16. If you get a chance to go, it’s delicious!

The next morning we got up pretty early and met JB and Amy to drive to Sonoma. We started our day of tasting at a bigger winery and moved onto smaller ones as the day went on. They were each unique and all were so fun! At the end of the day, the sun came out and I think I even got a tan line (YESSS!). We bought a few bottles of wine throughout the day to serve with dinner.

Since my parents’ friends graciously opened their house to us, we decided to cook a fancy dinner at home and enjoy each other’s company and the incredible views from their patio. It was seriously one of the most picture perfect evening sitting on that patio looking out over Sonoma Valley.

I ended up crashing early, okay, it was 11:30, but I was exhausted and couldn’t keep up with the rest of them! And I also knew that we had another day of fun, so it was best I rested up. Our first day made me fall in love with Sonoma, but the second half of the trip only solidified that thought. I’ll be sharing more pictures later — there were so many that I decided to just break it into two! Happy Tuesday!
