With our wedding a short two weeks away, I’ve been super busy, so when I decide to get dressed in something other than workout clothes, I reach for something casual and easy. Last week, we had drinks and dinner planned in the laid-back West Loop neighborhood so I went with a slouchy tshirt in dark charcoal grey, white ankle jeans, booties and my all-time favorite handmade bag. I really wish that I had bought this shirt in every color or at least an extra one. I adore the fabric and loose styling and would recommend ordering a size up for an extra slouchy look.
We met my sister’s boyfriend at Lone Wolf (great beer) and then we ate dinner at Au Cheval (don’t miss the bacon). I’d been dying to try that spot for a while, so I was thrilled that we finally got around to checking it out. The burger really is as good as they say! It was great to get out for a bit and get my mind of details, songs and last minute details. If you haven’t checked out this Chicago spot, I’d highly recommend it!
