I’m excited to share this (again—I did a try-on in Insta Stories last week) with all of you soon-to-be-mamas! Now that we’ve been inside for a week, and I’ve been wearing sweatpants for a solid week, I’m starting to get the itch to get dressed in normal clothes again.
Any little bit of normalcy counts these days, right?
While some of these pieces are maternity, a lot of them aren’t! So, if you’re not pregnant, there’s still some great pieces in here that will work for you too.
The green dress above was one of my favorites from Everlane last year! It’s only $40 and so comfortable. I wore it a ton with sandals, sneakers and even heels for a cool, casual look for hanging out on the patio.
I’m wearing an XS here, but would suggest going up once size for the bump because this will be tight soon. I put on a belt to give it a little more shape too. It looks super cute not pregnant as well, you can see how I wore it here before I was pregnant.
I ordered this dress from Amazon probably a month ago because it looked so comfortable and I wasn’t wrong. I’m wearing an XS and would not suggest going up. It runs a little big as is and is stretchy. The fabric is plenty thick too, so don’t worry about it being see-through.
These sandals were a splurge, but I’ve wanted them the past 3 years and when they came back again this year, I decided it was time. I ADORE them! Can’t wait for summer weather.
This is such a cute, casual work outfit! I’m getting so sick of sweaters, and most of mine aren’t long enough to cover my bump anymore! I’d order this shirt a size up for the bump because I think this will be a little tight in a few weeks, but it’s working for the moment.
These cute flats are new from M.Gemi and so dang cute! Online, it said to order a half size down, but I disagree! I wish I had gone with my normal size because they’re a little tight in the toes. I’ve been wearing them with socks around the house and they are breaking in and stretching, so it shouldn’t be an issue!
Another CHEAP, but awesome Amazon find! This dress is long-sleeve, simple, comfy and under $25! IT comes in a bunch of colors too, but I’m a sucker for this shade of green. I love how it looks with a leather jacket for cooler spring days.
In my opinion, EVERY pregnant gal needs this dress. I wore this one at least 2x a week when I was pregnant with Owen because it’s so dang comfortable. This one is actually maternity too. It looks cute worn casually, and dressed up because it’s simple and black. I’m wearing an XS and it fits perfectly.
I love this casual outfit for work, even if that’s currently just sitting at my dining table. I always feel better and am more productive if I’m dressed up—anyone else? These maternity jeans are the over the belly ones! They’re comfortable and I wore them like crazy during the last trimester with Owen.
I got these flats earlier this year and I love them. They are SO comfortable and a perfect basic pair of flats. There was no break-in period and they run TTS. They literally mold to your feet and come in a bunch of colors.
My chambray shirt is not maternity and won’t fit me much longer. I’m wearing an XS here and will need to order a size or two up if I want to wear this for longer!
Lastly, is this maternity tank! Pieces like this are essential for pregnancy and postpartum. I’ve been wearing this one constantly—I just throw a cardigan over it and I’m set for the day.
I have it in an XS, but could easily have done the small too, it’s a little tight under the armpits. This will be great for nursing this summer!
I hope this helps give you some ideas of what to wear while pregnant—it’s hard somedays, haha! I’m also planning on doing a try-on of my favorite maternity workout clothes soon—stay tuned!
