I’m suddenly finding myself in the midst of a hair crisis. For the longest time I had planned on keeping my hair long for our wedding, but very abruptly I decided that I was over my long locks. I’m bored.

All of these images and more have got my mind reeling. There’s something so simple and chic about them and I’m not one to fuss with my hair, and Jessica Alba’s look is making me think this could really be a good fit.

Sooooo, now I’m seriously debating making the drastic cut, should I do it?? Eeeeek!

    I’ve been having the same dilemma but I think yes! You’ll have time to get used to it and it will grow a bit between now and your wedding. I’ve always had long hair and this same cut has been on my brain for the past few months!

    Yes! Do it! Your hair will look fresh and healthy and it’s still plenty of hair to work with for your wedding, whether you’re planning an updo or keeping it down.

    I just got bangs so I am all for this… and I’ve been thinking about trimming it even further all around but I wanted to get used to bangs first. The good news? Hair grows and you’ve got plenty of time before the wedding day to get some length back if you need it!

    I love my short hair! The trouble is, it’s hard to grow it out long again. I only make it a couple months before it drives me crazy and I go back to short hair.

    These are all really cute, I vote go for it! I did a similar style last year and realized almost all of the pictures I tagged also had a little ombre towards the ends – it definitely gives a little more oomph to a long bob, and I ended up just going Sun-In to get a little fade. Just make sure the stylist goes a little longer than the curled styles, so that when you tousle it’s the right length!

    I know how you feel and I think I had the very same hair inspiration :-) I think a mid to short bob is a nice change for the upcoming (hopefully soon) warmer weather. A little ombre highlight doesn’t hurt either :-p

    I did it!!!! The idea stemmed from when Julia from Gal Meets Glam whacked hers. Ironically, I pinned several of the same images for my hair dresser, marched in last Friday and took the plunge. My hair looks so healthy and I’m getting tons of compliments. I do miss the way may hair looked long after a good curl from my wand, but this cut requires much less effort for a great straight style. I kept the front angled and kind of long which helped buffer the shock.
