Weekend Steals, 11/4
Technically it’s still fall, but this past week felt a whole lot like winter—ugh! Thankfully, I’d ordered these new winter boots (also available here) a few weeks ago and have been breaking them in on our morning walks!
Happy Saturday!!!! Lately Saturdays have been my favorite day of the week. I get to sleep in late and stay in my robe because Rob’s home to walk Oliver in the morning. It’s the little things, right?!
Yesterday, one of my high school friends was in town with her husband and baby. They came over to hang out for a bit before we went to lunch. Her sweet baby was crawling around chasing Oliver, and shockingly, Oliver just let it happen—it was adorable to watch him sniffing the baby’s head gently! It made me feel better about having a baby in the house soon.
Speaking of baby—I shared a little updated on stories, but if you missed it, things are progressing as they should and of course, we have no idea when he’ll be here, but I’m hoping it’s soon. I’ve started having more regular Braxton Hicks contractions and some are even feeling a wee bit painful. Totally tolerable, but that’s got to mean the real thing is near, right?! I loved reading all the funny methods to induce labor you sent, so thank you for that!
I wish I could say we have fun plans this weekend, but everything these days is casual and tentative. Since I’m on the verge of being able to wear normal clothes again, I’ve been doing way too much browsing and shopping so rounding up this weekend’s steals was especially easy. I admittedly placed a big J.Crew order earlier this week and got this cute hair bow (also below), this basic camel sweater, this teddy coat and this simple plaid shirt (which is now on sale and wasn’t when I bought it—ugh!), which I think will come in super handy when I’m nursing.
Thanks again for your feedback on this series—sounds like you guys really loved it, so I’ll keep it going! Hope you have an awesome weekend!!
P.S. If you haven’t filled out my reader survey yet, I’d be so thankful if you did! I’d love to know what you want to see more of in the next year. As a little thank you, if you fill it out, you’ll be entered to win a $100 Nordstrom gift card!
