A few weeks ago, I asked if there were any items you guys wanted me to style and leather leggings (and non-workout leggings) were easily the top most requested item! I did not have either of those, so I did a little research and quickly found that the go-to faux leather leggings with the best reviews were Spanx.
All those people weren’t lying! They are so good. They look so expensive, but are under $100 and the top tummy control part is great and really sucks you in. The legs are long too—something I often worry about being 5’8″—but no issue here, they are plenty long!
I styled them a few different ways, and quickly realized that most of my sweaters are too short, so I’ll be needing to invest in a few longer ones so I can get more wear out of these this winter.
Winter
I think this is the most practical way to wear faux leather leggings, or any leggings that aren’t athletic wear. A long tunic-style sweater or oversized sweater that covers your behind and front-side is the most approachable way to wear these gorgeous leggings. It’s easy and always looks so cute.
You can switch up your footwear to dress it up or down. I’d definitely wear this with loafers, sneakers or mules for something different.
Long Sweaters
If you’re on the tall side, make sure that you order sweaters that are long enough—like I said, I realized I only had this sweater that was long enough and it’s even barely long enough, ha! I adore this sweater and actually owned it, but I can’t find it after our move! Ugh, hate when that happens, but it’s a great long one that would be perfect with leggings.
Casual

This outfit is great for running errands, doing mom stuff or just hanging around the house. It’s casual, but still cute. If you like having everything covered, opt for a longer t-shirt!
Work
Grey Mockneck Sweater, wearing a small | Faux Leather Leggings | Oversized Blazer, wearing a 2 | Hoop Earrings, similar here | Newbury Boots, also love these | Chevron Crossbody Bag
I adore this blazer (styled it 4 more ways here) and love how it looks with the leather leggings. It’s such an elevated look. You could wear this to work, or even out for a date night or girl’s night. I love that it’s versatile, but chic and polished!
Which outfit is your favorite? Have you tried the Spanx leather leggings yet?!
BTW, how to style a blazer 4 ways, and how to wear white jeans in winter.
