Alder Sweater, sold out in black (ugh, I know, but more black sweaters below) | Wide Leg Crop Pants, also love the green and the red | Ankle Strap Sandals, these are my go-to party shoes—weddings, holidays, etc.
We’re back with another three ways to wear post—this time I’m styling a black sweater. Chances are you might already have one in your closet. Maybe a black turtleneck shirt? That would work too! I’m bummed that this exact sweater sold out during the Shopbop Sale, but I love the slouchy style of it and the mockneck and it comes in a bunch of other colors if you love it! In case you don’t have a black sweater, I did round up a few below, so take a gander!
Black Sweaters
Okay, onto the first look with these wide leg crop pants. I have to admit I was a little hesitant about the wide leg pants and wasn’t sure how I’d like them. But, I’m obsessed. They look so chic, and usually aren’t as wrinkled (they were in my suitcase for a while and I didn’t have an iron, sorry!). They’d be great to wear to the office, to a girl’s night out or with flats and a cool t-shirt (love this one and this one) around town with your kids.
Alder Sweater | Denim Skirt, also love this washed black version | Lash Heels, in tan here (my fall obsession!)
The second look is one I wore to a Dyson event earlier this month. I was lucky enough to snag this amazing vacuum and shared my tips for keeping your house tidy in this post. If you’re in the market for a new vacuum, I couldn’t recommend this one more, it’s amazing! Okay, but this outfit is one of my favorites I’ve worn in a long time. Fun, flirty and made me feel like I was heading out for a fun night on the town with my girls! Or, maybe a date with Rob.
I’ve also been wearing it with these sneakers and casual tops to push the stroller on our afternoon walks—I love it!
Alder Sweater | Black Skinny Jeans | Gazelle Sneakers | Form Bag | Silk Bandana
Lastly, a classic black on black outfit. When in doubt, this combo ALWAYS works. I love how the skinny jeans contrasts with the fullness of this sweater. You could easily dress it up with a pair of heels (either of the pairs above would work!), but I love the unexpected sneakers with it!
I know I’ve mentioned this bag a bunch, but it’s that good and I’ve been carrying it almost exclusively since it arrived. It holds my laptop, calendar, notebook and then all the essentials like lipstick (I’m loving this lipstick in the 9 to 5 shade for fall), wallet, keys and a phone! Actually, I even stick my water bottle in there when I’m going to the coffee shop to get some work done.
