{ it’s tradition to take a picture with the turkey we cook together each year and since we were gone at Thanksgiving, so we did a smoked one for Christmas instead! }
{ glittery & colorful ornaments make for nice decor }
{ the sweetest ornament from when my parents were super young, aren’t they cute?! }
{ my favorite Christmas decoration we have — doesn’t he just look so cozy }
{ our Christmas tree, decorated with photo ornaments — one from each year of our lives }
{ our stockings that my mom hand cross-stitched years ago }
{ trying to decide which of the many beers on tap to pick }
{ spending some quality time with my family at the Katy Trail Ice House
{ my two sisters — aka my best friends and maids of honor }
{ squeezing an orange into a nicely chilled brew }
{ our grandma, Mana, shares her birthday with Jesus, so we always make her a special birthday cake. p.s. this is just the sweetest shot of her! }
{ our Christmas tablescape! }
I’m headed back to Chicago today with my sister Katherine in tow (she’s the taller one). I had ten amazing days in Dallas with my friends and family, but I have to admit, I’m happy to be going back to Chicago. I miss Rob and Oliver so much!
Here’s a quick peek into my ten days in Dallas, I hope you had a wonderful holiday too!
