The Sunday after my birthday couldn’t have been more perfect — sunny and warm with nothing on the agenda! Some of our friends had a stand for their business, Chi Chi Sport, at the Dose Market in Wicker Park. I love going to Dose Market because it’s well-curated and has a great, eclectic mix of clothing, jewelry, food, soaps, home decor and more. I also love an excuse to go to Wicker Park and eventually walk over to one of my favorite streets in Chicago, Division. After we cruised through the Dose Market, we did just that!
Though the weather was perfect, in the shade, it did get a teensy bit cool. I’m always cold and opted for denim on denim, so skinny jeans and a light chambray shirt fit the bill. I finally pulled out pair of sandals and one of my favorite summer bags from En Shalla. After strolling down Division, Christine and I stopped at Prasino for a lunch of salad, fish tacos and mimosas.
After lunch, the rest of my Sunday was a little more routine. Oliver got a long walk and lots of playtime at the dog park we just discovered. I made a grocery run, cooked dinner at home and crashed early. When I really think about it, my little routine is nothing that special, but it’s the little things that make Sundays so sweet! Since the weekend is upon us, tell me what makes your Sunday routine special?
P.S. The Fox & She is getting a makeover this weekend! Come back on Monday to see the new design and also two other new announcements, woo hoo! Cheers, friends!
