If you’ve watched the weather in Chicago at all this week, you’ll know that we’ve been experiencing subzero temperatures for two days now. Just check the hashtag #Chiberia on Instagram for a quick view. It’s some of the coldest weather Chi has seen in over thirty years, annnnd I hope we never sees it again! Taking Oliver for a walk has become a torturous chore that neither of us like, and our apartment can’t seem to stay very warm either.
Yesterday, I braved the -2 weather for a lunch break with a friends. It was so nice to get out of the house for a bit and feel like a semi-normal person again. Fortunately, my leopard coat, headband, boots and thick socks kept me pretty warm! But even with all those layers on, being inside with a cup of coffee in my hands is much better!
P.S. How does anyone actually live in Siberia?
