A few weeks ago, I polled all of you asking what was your biggest struggle each week as a mom. There were a bunch of different responses, but far and away the number one struggle?

Finding more time for yourself.

This didn’t surprise me at all, because we all know as soon as you have kids, your time is no longer your own. And, when you also work part of full-time, you have even less time to do the things you want, so it’s my goal to help show you guys how we can all find pockets of time and work smarter, not harder in our lives to make them more enjoyable!

Sound good?! Great!

I should mention, this isn’t just for moms. I know so many of you are busy with work, sometimes juggling multiple jobs, pets, family members, partners, etc. No matter where you are in life, it’s easy for it to get hectic and crazy and we all deserve a little more downtime to relax and recharge so we can show for those we care about it.

Something I’ve been taking advantage of lately that’s allowed me to find another pocket of free time is Walmart’s Next Day Delivery service. By using this service I save time, at least an hour, by skipping the trip to the store to stock up on household items, cleaning supplies, personal care products, etc.

When you spend $35 or more on their products from this page, you can get FREE next day delivery. And, how often do you go to the store and spend less than $35? Seriously, this is such an awesome mom hack!

Walmart doesn’t up charge you for these items either. The prices you see online are exactly what you’d get in-store too. Best of all, Walmart’s Next Day Delivery does not require a yearly fee or membership like so many other quick delivery programs do. Woo hoo—time-saving and money-saving!!!

I typically use this service for most of our household items. Things like laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Personally, I hate having to shop for stuff like this for several reasons.

1. Vitamins | 2. InstantPot | 3. Baby Wipes | 4. Swiffer Pads | 5. Laundry Detergent | 6. Diapers | 7. Hand Soap | 8. Trash Bags | 9. Bulk Paper Towels | 10. Bulk Toilet Paper | 11. Dishwasher Pods

Why Next Day Delivery is your new best friend

I don’t have time!

Duh, you guys are likely in the same boat. If I have an hour to either run errands or sit and read a book, do you know which one I want to do? Read the book! So do it! I used to feel guilty if I wasn’t busy all the time, but the truth is, I hate how I feel when I’m constantly busy. I’m frazzled, exhausted and irritable. By outsourcing that task, I have more time to chill!

It’s a Pain

I swear, I always run out of everything at the same time and don’t have a chance to run out and get it. I mean, have you tried going to the store with a toddler and picking up toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, diapers, wipes and toothpaste?! You simply need more hands.

Owen is in a phase where he doesn’t always like to listen, so trying to get all that stuff out to the car while also wrangling him is stress-inducing. I’d rather just avoid it all together. Wouldn’t you?

It’s FREE!

I’ll mention this again—it’s FREE on a ton of things you use all the time! When there’s no additional fee, why would you NOT make the simple choice of making your life easier?! So, if hitting up the store was on your list this week, hop over here, order it all and scratch it off your list! Instead, pencil in something you want to do!

This season, I’m working hard to slow down, simplify and bring more peace and calm into our lives. Outsourcing some of the things that I don’t like doing to make more time for myself and more my family is so important to me. When it costs me nothing extra, I’m even more excited about it!

Like I said, I typically use Walmart’s Next Day Delivery for home items, but that’s not all that’s available. There’s everything from health and wellness products (think supplements, snacks, bandaids), baby and toddler supplies (formula, car seats, diapers, wipes) and packaged grocery items. There’s even children’s gifts when you forget to get a present for someone’s birthday party you have this weekend—guilty!

As we move into a new season, can we make a pledge to each other to do one thing this week that will make our lives easier?! If you’re in, let me know in the comments and share how you’ll outsource something you don’t want to do to make more time for YOU!

Thanks to Walmart, a brand I love and trust for sponsoring this post! Thank you for supporting the brands that make The Fox & She possible!
