When it comes to winter, something of this variety is usually what I’m wearing. Layers, boots and a coat. For the most part, I usually wear jeans, but I love these skinny ankle cords, especially in these deep burgundy color. It’s a nice way to add a little color to my dreary day.

This sweater is from earlier this season and no longer available, but J.Crew really nailed this year with all their sweaters! Paired with these over the knee boots, I’m doing my best to stay toasty warm this winter!

    I’ll go ahead and say that I LOVE all the side zips on sweaters now. A lot of sweaters hit me oddly and “plop” out on the side, so I’m so glad to be able to vent that out a little.

    So many of my favorite things this season in one post! My maroon side zipped sweatshirt from jcrew has become my uniform, while my over the knee boots have been my fun/dressy go-to’s. I got Stuart Weitzman’s highway boots this year for Christmas and I LOVE them, but they have a heel… maybe next year I’ll spring for the lowlands.
