Good morning friends! We landed in Denver last night and we’re settling in for several days of family time and relaxation and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m also really excited about all the amazing sales that are happening this weekend. We moved into our current apartment about a year and half ago. When we first moved in, Owen was only 5 months. I was exhausted and sick of moving again after just 1 year. We dumped our stuff in our room and I couldn’t think about really making it feel like home until nearly a year later.

But, in the past few months, I’ve been making some updates to our bedroom with help from Serena & Lily and I’m loving how it’s turning out! It’s been a slow process—it’s tough making decisions—but it’s really coming together and it makes me so happy to walk in there each night.

It feels cozier, more comfortable and more like us! We added some tassel pillows (my exact pillows are sold out), these pretty and simple gold table lamps and this gorgeous throw!

I got this teak stool for Owen, but put it in here for the pictures! We use it in his bathroom for teeth brushing and hand washing! I know this will be something we use for years to come. It’s so well made and so cute!

I’m so happy with how it’s coming together! To me, home is truly where the heart is. We spend so much time here and having it be a place that’s reflective of our style, comfortable and cozy is so important to me.
