A few weeks ago, we had lunch at one of our favorites, Corridor on Southport and afterwards I popped into Free People on a whim. I saw this cami and fell in love! This rust color is one of my favorites and I knew it would be perfect for the end of summer and into fall with a jacket layered over it.
I’ve been finding myself gravitating more and more towards neutrals instead of bold colors. It makes my whole closet so much more versatile because I can easily mix and match pieces to create more outfits. With fall coming, I know more and more neutrals are in my future!
I love this outfit as end of summer, early fall transitional look. This denim skirt (almost identical one because mine is almost sold out) has gotten so much more use than I could have ever imagined and also looks so cute with booties and a sweater when it gets a bit cooler. This look from last year was one of my favorites!
Here, I paired with my go-to sneakers. People ask me all the time, “are they worth it?” and my answer is an easy YES. I think it depends on how often you wear sneakers, but I wear them more than half the week (it’s easy with Owen) and I love having a pair that is trendier and cooler than running sneakers.
The cost per wear is so low, so in my opinion, that makes it worth it since they make me feel awesome wearing them! They’re comfortable and have a slight wedge in the heel that makes your legs look longer! I just snagged this pair for fall and I’m obsessed! Definitely a bit bolder, but so fun!
As much as I hate the end of summer, I adore fall! Are you looking forward to fall clothes? What colors are most prominent in your closet?
