Week 3: 30 Days of Real Outfits

What a week it was! Jack started his first week of daycare, and we left for Aspen-Snowmass on Thursday for a long weekend trip with friends. It was a busy and full week, but so good for the soul. As I get older, I feel so lucky for the friends we surround ourselves with, they bring us so much joy and we feel so lucky to have them in our lives.

Here’s what I wore this past week and a little bit about what we did all week!

Day 12: Yellow Palm Print Maxi Dress

Palm Print Maxi Dress | Earrings

Wore this outfit to a baby shower then met my family for pizza and ice cream! Such a fun Saturday night, this area in our neighborhood is so cute.

Day 13: Linen Jumpsuit

Linen Picnic Jumpsuit | Starla Sandals

We celebrated Jack’s 1st birthday with Rob’s side of the family at our house. Wore this comfy and cute jumpsuit that I can’t get enough of.

Day 14: Green Maxi Dress

Anthropologie Dress, old | Starla Sandals

A casual and comfy Monday outfit for getting lots done and organized. It was my first day with both kids gone and I couldn’t believe how much I accomplished. I bought this dress when I was pregnant with Owen (it’s not maternity) and it’s still a favorite!

Day 15: Chambray & Jeans

Chambray Central Shirt, similar | Black Jeans, similar | Greece Sandals | Sunglasses | Hoop Earrings | Satchel, similar

Even though it’s been hot, I love a good jeans and cute top outfit. These jeans are old, but some of my favorites from Madewell.

Day 16: Black T-Shirt Dress

T-Shirt Dress, runs small—order up a size & similar here | Green Jacket, TTS | Sneakers | Bracelet Stack | Transport Tote

Wore this for our roadtrip up to the mountains last Thursday. It was comfy and breezy. The jacket was perfect for when we got to Aspen as it’s always a little cooler up there.

Day 17: Maroon Bells Picnic

hiking outfit

Black Cropped Top | High-Waisted Grey Leggings | Sneakers | Baseball Hat | Sunglasses

We went to Maroon Bells for a picnic lunch one day. It’s one of my favorite places to picnic up here. It’s beautiful and scenic, but harder to get to these days. If you go during the day, you have to take a shuttle and reserve tickets. You can drive in, but only after 5pm and before 8am. Owen fell in the river, hence the underwear outfit, ha!

Day 18: Parents’ Night Out

Sezane top and ripped mom jeans with braided Paily heels

Sézane Top, runs small—order a size up (I’m in a 38) | Ripped Mom Jeans | Paily Heels, so comfortable!

Our last night, my sister babysat the kiddos and the adults went out for dinner. We got a last minute table at The Wild Fig and it was delicious. Amazing ambiance, great drinks and food and overall, such a fun night. I’ll be recovering from the lack of sleep all week long.
